Sergio Terrazas

Sergio Terrazas is an Executive Managing Director at Alcedio Capital, focused on investment banking execution across the firm’s advisory mandates. Sergio brings a strong technical foundation to his work, having begun his career at KPMG where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant before transitioning into corporate finance and transaction advisory.

Prior to joining Alcedio, Sergio held a corporate finance role at Secure Energy Services, where he gained direct experience in financial planning, analysis, and strategic transactions within a large, operationally complex organization. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a specialization in Accounting from the University of Calgary.

Since joining Alcedio nine years ago, Sergio has been integral to the firm’s investment banking practice, managing the execution of mandates across the full transaction lifecycle — from process design and financial analysis through to negotiation, documentation, and close. His background in both public accounting and corporate finance gives him a practical, detail-oriented perspective that he applies consistently across mandates regardless of industry or transaction type.
