Brett Long

Brett Long is a Managing Director at Alcedio Capital, bringing over 15 years of experience across corporate finance, capital markets, and mergers and acquisitions. Since joining Alcedio nine years ago, Brett has been a cornerstone of the firm’s growth — executing capital raises, buy-side and sell-side mandates, debt financings, and strategic advisory assignments across a diverse range of industries and geographies.

Prior to Alcedio, Brett held finance and advisory roles within the energy sector, including positions at STEP Energy Services and Essential Energy Services, where he developed a rigorous foundation in financial analysis and transaction execution. He holds a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary.

Throughout his career, Brett has successfully navigated a wide variety of complex transactions, consistently delivering measured and aligned solutions that support the long-term strategic objectives of Alcedio’s clients. In addition to his advisory work, Brett plays a central role in Alcedio’s Direct Investment practice, where he brings the expertise to build and implement the financial infrastructure necessary to support portfolio company growth and operational performance.
